Charco Manso is located on the northeast coast, below Echedo, amidst a landscape of lava sculpted by the ocean into hollows, arches, and passageways. The pool is just one of the site's attractions; it is also worth visiting simply to admire these formations from the shore. Don't let the name mislead you. When the sea surges against the rocks, it is best to stay back and forgo a swim; even spots that appear dry can be reached by the waves.
