About the beach
Valverde · El Hierro
El Río de Tamaduste is not a river, but a sea inlet enclosed by volcanic rock, with the village clustered around it. Its clear water and developed waterfront give it a different atmosphere from a typical sandy beach. It is a place to enjoy by swimming—when conditions allow—or by strolling along the inlet. Its proximity to the airport makes it an easy stop to include in an itinerary around Valverde.
