About the beach
Valverde · El Hierro
Playa de Timijiraque is one of the sandy beaches on El Hierro’s east coast, nestled between the rising terrain and a small settlement. Its dark shoreline and the cliff face behind it give it a different character from the natural pools for which the island is famous. Nearby dining options make it an easy stop during a coastal tour. However, it is open to the sea; easy access does not guarantee calm swimming conditions.
