Betancuria · Fuerteventura

Aguas Verdes features a coastline of natural pools carved into the rocks of Betancuria—a landscape quite different from the vast sandy beaches for which Fuerteventura is famous. While low tide may make the sequence of pools more visible, it does not eliminate the risk posed by incoming ocean waves. Visiting requires suitable footwear and careful footing. If water is washing over the rocky barriers, enjoy the scenery from a safe distance rather than entering the pools.
