About the beach
Agüimes · Gran Canaria
At Playa de Arinaga, the sea is best enjoyed along the village promenade; the beach is just one part of a coastline that also includes the swimming areas of Zoco Negro and Risco Verde. The lighthouse and old lime kilns offer reasons to walk beyond the sandy beach itself. It is a great choice for a stop with a local feel, amidst terraces and rocky outcrops—though be aware that the east coast wind can pick up.
