The old landing stage serves as a reminder of the sea's historical importance to this western part of La Gomera, while the dark sand and surrounding terrain create a stunningly scenic setting. It is a place chosen for its landscape and beautiful afternoon light. The path leads right down to the shore, though the open sea requires caution before swimming.
