La Caleta de Hermigua is the sandy beach on the Hermigua coast, framed by the steep landscape of northern La Gomera. Its volcanic sand and designated dining area make it a suitable destination even for days when swimming is not the primary focus. The sea can be rough; the presence of picnic areas does not alter the coast's exposure to the elements. It makes for an interesting scenic stop after traversing the valley.
