Valle Gran Rey · La Gomera
Playa del Inglés retains the connection to the alternative and naturist crowds that made it famous in the 1970s. Although close to Valle Gran Rey, its black sand and open landscape give it a wilder feel than the main seafront. It is a beach to be enjoyed for its light, its walking paths, and the ocean itself. Currents can be strong; while it is easy to reach, it is not necessarily an easy beach for swimming.
