Despite its name—which translates to "Green Pool"—Charco Verde is a genuine beach: a small black-sand cove nestled between cliffs and banana plantations, south of Puerto Naos. Its compact size and organized access points set it apart from coves that require a long, arduous descent to reach. It is an ideal stop for those seeking a volcanic seaside landscape without a strenuous hike. Even though the cove is sheltered, always check current conditions and posted signage.
