Punta Larga comprises a small bay nestled between lava flows and houses linked to maritime life, in the Fuencaliente area. The dark sand and rock formations reflect the landscape of southern La Palma on a more intimate scale than the vast volcanic panoramas. It is a spot worth choosing for its local atmosphere and afternoon light. The uneven terrain calls for suitable footwear, as you won't find a continuous stretch of sand.
