North of El Cotillo, La Concha and Los Lagos (El Cotillo) form a stretch of pale sand broken by rocks that create small coves. This is the side to choose if you are looking for areas more sheltered than the open beaches south of the village. The tide reshapes the seabed and the connections between the coves; it is worth observing the water before settling in. The real experience lies in choosing your own private spot, rather than simply stopping at one large stretch of sand.
