Piedra Playa / El Aljibe—located in the El Aljibe sector south of El Cotillo—showcases the exposed side of this coastline: a long, golden expanse beneath cliffs, where waves and wind attract water sports enthusiasts. It is very different from the rocky lagoons north of the village. Choose it for walking and gazing out at the open ocean; the conditions that appeal to surfers can make swimming challenging or inadvisable.
