This Playa Blanca is located south of Puerto del Rosario, not in the Lanzarote town of the same name. It is a broad, pale sandy beach that fits easily into a day spent in the capital or exploring the east coast. Its proximity to the city makes it a convenient stop, while the wind and waves give it a less intimate feel than the sheltered bays. Choose it for the open space and a walk along the shore, but check the conditions before going for a swim.
