The long curve of golden sand and the palm trees of Playa de Las Teresitas stretch out in front of San Andrés, backed by the Anaga mountains. A breakwater softens the waves, making this beach very different from the nearby coves of the northern coast. It is a convenient spot for a day by the sea starting from Santa Cruz; afterwards, the village offers a chance to sit down for a meal without rushing back to the city.
