Best beaches in Tenerife: choosing the right beach for your day

Las Teresitas, Las Vistas, El Duque and La Tejita offer different beach days. Compare scenery, convenience and sea conditions before choosing.

Las Teresitas, Las Vistas, El Duque and La Tejita offer different beach days. Compare scenery, convenience and sea conditions before choosing.

Las Teresitas or Las Vistas: start with your location

Near Santa Cruz, consider Las Teresitas for a city-and-beach day. Las Vistas is in the Los Cristianos area in the south. Before crossing the island, compare travel time with the time you will spend by the sea: a nearby beach with suitable conditions may be the better choice.

El Duque and La Tejita: convenience or open scenery

El Duque sits in the Costa Adeje resort area; La Tejita stands out for its setting beside Montaña Roja. They are not interchangeable on a windy day: an attractive open beach does not guarantee comfort on the sand. Compare access, wind and the facilities you need as well as photographs.

Most beautiful versus best today

This selection helps plan an itinerary; it is not a daily league table. Open the beach pages and compare conditions during your visit. Travelling without a car? Check the TITSA transport guide too: reaching a resort does not always mean reaching the beach entrance.
