Pozo Izquierdo is not a shortcut for beginners
Pozo Izquierdo is associated with competitive windsurfing and the PWA. Fame does not make it suitable for every ability. If you are learning, do not choose a session merely for strong wind or a high score: the rating cannot certify your ability to manage waves, launching and returning.
Vargas and Las Burras: verify the sport and sector
Tourism references document windsurfing at Vargas and Las Burras. This supports comparing them without implying blanket permission. Check entry areas, local restrictions and current conditions. Do not extend windsurfing evidence to wingfoiling or kiting: different disciplines may have different sectors and rules.
Assess the session through to your return
Compare average wind, gusts and direction with waves and the seabed near the access. Choose a time window, not one reading: a wind shift or rising sea may change the return. For lessons and rental, ask the centre which sector and equipment suit your ability that day.
