La Garita de Arrieta runs alongside the village of Arrieta, offering a stretch of sand long enough for a walk as well as a swim. To one side, there is a designated swimming area accessible via a walkway—a feature that sets this beach apart from the small rocky coves found elsewhere in the north. The village restaurants provide a great reason to linger after your time in the water. It makes for a convenient stop while exploring the Haría area.
