About the beach

Playa de San Juan is a small beach in the Caleta de Famara area, featuring a mix of sand and rock in a setting open to the Atlantic. Well-known in the surfing community, it is much more intimate in scale than the long Famara beach. It is a great place to sit facing the waves and view the coast from a different perspective. Entering the water requires the right conditions and experience; being close to the shore does not eliminate the risks posed by the rocky seabed.
